Training Is the Key!

What do Olympic athletes, first responders, and Bergkamp customers have in common?

They all train to be the best!  Training is a critical part of the service after the sale at Bergkamp Inc.  After delivery of our equipment, the Bergkamp Customer Solutions Unit contacts new customers to schedule Start-Up Training with their operators.  This process includes onsite training at the customer’s facility and use of the new equipment in the field.  Our Bergkamp Customer Solutions Technicians train the operators on the safe operation of the equipment, about preventative maintenance, and get them off to a solid start using their new equipment.  Working one on one with a Bergkamp Customer Solutions Technician, our customers get more than a manual and a set of keys, they get the keys to a successful program.

The training continues at Bergkamp Inc, with continuing education Patcher and Paving Schools offered yearly.  The Paver School for our M Series Continuous and Truck Mounted Pavers is held in the spring and the Patcher School for our Pothole Patchers is held in the fall at the Salina, Kansas, facility.  The three-day schools combine classroom work with hands-on experience.  These schools provide an opportunity for our customers to send new employees and long term employees for a refresher class while encouraging the operators to share experiences and things they have learned about paving and patching.
