Title of Presentation: Training for Turnover While Maintaining Momentum
Presentation Description: Goal: Communicate the benefits of regular, high-quality operator and technician training from original equipment manufacturers; highlighting customer success stories. Objective: State and local agencies are experiencing higher than normal turnover rates which affect both safety and productivity. Through new equipment training, follow-up, equipment inspections, and annual technician schools; employees receive factory training from experienced technical representatives addressing the knowledge gap that results from this trend. Outcome: Regular training programs will mitigate the chances of injury and equipment damage for both new hires and employees with tenure alike. Finally, program success rates will increase because the standardized methodology is being utilized.
Objective 1: Increase workplace safety.
Objective 2: Maintain productivity with employee turnover.
Objective 3: Reduce operating costs by investing in training.
