2018 Final Year for availability of M2 Series and M310 Tier 3 Engine Truck Mounted Paver in the U.S. and Canada

Currently the M2 and M3 series Truck Mounted pavers are equipped with Cummins diesel engines that comply with U.S. EPA Tier 3 (T3) regulations and have been legal for Bergkamp Inc. to manufacture, sell and distribute under the TPEM provisions because of our status as a low-density manufacturer. Effective December 31, 2018, this exemption expires and this configuration is no longer legal to be manufactured and sold in the U.S. and Canada, although already completed existing inventory of M2 and M3 Series T3 equipment may still be sold. Due to this requirement, we are making the following changes to our M2 and M3 Series Truck Mounted paver products starting January 1, 2019:

1. We will no longer offer the M2 Series truck-mounted paver in the U.S. and Canada.
2. The M310 with the Tier 3 side engine will no longer be available in the U.S. and Canada.
3. Our newest paver, the M310E powered by the truck’s engine (no side engine), will be our truck mounted paver offering in the U.S., Canada and other markets requiring EPA Tier 4 or equal emissions requirements.

Bergkamp will no longer sell newly manufactured M2 Series Truck Mounted Pavers in the United States and Canada, but will continue to support existing M2 Series Pavers for their normal service life, as we have with previous model changes driven by EPA emission tier levels.

A limited number of M2 Tier 3 Truck-Mounted Pavers will be available for delivery in 2018. Contact your territory manager, Steve Wyrick, or Director of Contractor Sales, Jimmy Kendrick, to check the availability of any remaining production slots for new 2018 pavers.
